Starigrad is a city located at the foothills of the mountain Velebit, close to the famous national park Paklenica. The other remarkable place to visit is Etno Kuca Masarovic (The Old-Style House of Masarovic). This house is remodeled to completely match the original, build in stone. It has also the original equipment used for everyday living attesting to a life without technology. This history of rich past and the life style of old times is an excellent example of long forsaken simplicity and survival without modern means. There is a great restaurant located on the site with the ethnic cuisine offered in this part of Croatia, Dalmatian coast. The food is simple, but extremely tasty and enticing with aroma.
